Welcome to all.

This website is dedicated to honoring and protecting our worldwide waters.

We invite you to become Keepers of the Water Vow.

Please join us as we offer our hearts in service to

our Mother Earth and her waters. By calling

on the power of Love, prayer and community we

will initiate a new paradigm movement of healing.

We were deeply honored to have Grandmother Agnes Baker Pilgrim, Chair of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers, in attendance for our first

Keepers of the Water Vow Ceremony in Ashland, OR.  Grandmother Agnes blessed

and initiated the water vow prayer and ceremony as well as offering teachings.  Grandmother Agnes also helped create a special water for the Water Vow ceremonies

by contributing water she has collected and blessed from all over the world.

Grandmother Agnes is honored as a “living legend” for restoring

the Sacred Salmon Ceremony and speaking out for the protection and sacredness

of our worldwide waters.

Where did the Keepers of the Water Vow Originate?

During her morning prayers in June 2010,

Marina McDonald received the following vision while praying:

“In an altered state of prayer, I was suddenly overcome by a vision.

It began with the words “water is the blood of our mother earth”, accompanied by a visual image mixed with words showing me water as a magical substance, flowing over the body of the earth, in constant movement, carrying with it all kinds of substances, both material and spiritual.

I was shown that it was of critical importance that a

Keepers of the Water Vow Ceremony be created, where people will have an embodied experience of interacting with spirit, and where the prayer is transmitted personally, from one human heart to another.

These heart connections combined with sacred ceremony will weave a shimmering resonant field of interconnection, creating a new Grid of Human Consciousness. The creation and strengthening of this Grid of Human Consciousness is a key requirement for humanity’s successful shift

into new paradigm consciousness. READ MORE

“We are all water babies.  It’s never too late to save the world.

Wherever you are, take care of the water

~if you really want to live.”

Grandmother Agnes Baker Pilgrim

On June 25, 2010 Marina McDonald, founder of The Movements of  Love Community, saw her vision fulfilled when over 50 lovely people joined together at a private healing sanctuary in Ashland, Oregon for the first Water Vow ceremony, and became Keepers of the Water Vow.  We were deeply honored to have Grandmother Agnes Baker Pilgrim, chair of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers in attendance.   The full day experience included a beautiful Cherokee Way Ceremony conducted by Coyote Marie Hunter Ripper, who worked with Marina to co-create the first Water Vow Ceremony.  Coyote Marie is the founder of The Circle of Nations Education and Wellness Center.
